VenTiki offers an amazing assortment of dishes, including Hawaiian Pulled Pork Sliders, Seared Tuna and Sabu's Spicy Coconut Chicken. A combination of Fresh Fish from the Islands, Locally Sourced Produce and the Finest Seasonings available. Chef Johnny has created an amazing menu combining traditional Polynesian cuisine with contemporary flavors.

Chef Johnny Kahuna

A native Californian, Chef Johnny Itliong is a true culinary artist. With 30 years of experience as Executive Chef at many top restaurants, country clubs and catering companies, Johnny has developed his unique style of food preparation and presentation. He has toured restaurants from San Louis Obispo to Santa Monica. He has catered to the Hollywood Elite and Hollywood shows like Hell's Kitchen, The Biggest Loser, American Idol, Dancing with the Stars, Nip/Tuck, Too Fast Too Furious, and many others. Chef Johnny Itliong has worked with the local distributors for many years building loyalty and friendship who provide him with the best and freshest ingredients. Chef Johnny Itliong motto for memorable food and excellent customer service will leave you satisfied beyond your expectations. As Sir Elton John once said that "(Johnny's) food was some of the best food he has had."

VenTiki Tiki Lounge and Lanai

VenTiki is an Island Oasis in Ventura, CA featuring the best in traditional cocktails, Polynesian inspired cuisine, and modern tiki drinks. VenTiki is guaranteed to transport you away from your modern life to a tropical paradise. Step foot into the Lanai (Patio) and you already can feel the warmth of the islands with tiki water fall, wahine muraled flower garden and a blue glass fire pit for those chilly evenings. As you approach the lounge you hear music of the islands, surf tune or even Arthur Lyman inviting you to sit at the bar and watch the bartenders at work.

Mai Tais made the way they were invented by Trader Vic with a healthy dose of lime and rum, no grenadine or pineapple can be found in these drinks. Lapu Lapu's named for Chief Lapu Lapu who Commanding Visayan forces that killed Ferdinand Magellan. Don the Beachcombers' 1934 recipe for the Zombie is sure to remind you of your own mortality. VenTiki also has Modern drinks from the mind of Skipper Scott, the Alter of Sacrifice comes complete with a flaming lime to ward of evil spirits. The Lagoon of Forbidden Desire will transport you to your own private Island Oasis. The Shrunken Head may not keep the witch doctor away but after a couple of these whiskey drinks you may not care.

Chef Johnny has created an amazing menu to compliment the fine spirits served. He has fish flown in five days a week from the islands to top off his menu. Pepper Seared Tuna has been called a religious experience by more than one patron. While the Rana served in a martini glass can only be described by the smiles on the faces of those who have tried it. Not to be left out is the island favorite Hawaiian Style Pulled Pork served as sliders and more uniquely in Tacotinis. For the more traditional amongst you has has Moco Loco a staple from the 50th state and of course Spare Ribs.

All of the great food and drinks along with our friendly and curious staff will bring you one step closer to the paradise you so richly deserve!
